We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting our feature film business. In this role, you'll partner with various teams across the company, including Sales, Accounting, Legal, Production, and Distribution, to analyze global sales performance, participant deal structures, and distribution strategies. This role is based in our New York office with a minimum requirement of 3-days a week in office.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the global sales team to develop compelling, data-driven catalog packages that maximize film value and drive our distribution strategy.
- Analyze film performance in international markets, providing key insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize revenue.
- Develop complex financial models to evaluate different deal structures and support informed investment decisions for our feature film slate.
- Apply statistical methods to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights within financial and operational data.
- Accurately forecast and track film license fee revenue, marketing expenditures, and cash flow, comparing performance against budget.
- Work closely with the Sales and Legal & Business Affairs teams to analyze the financial implications of deal terms and mitigate risk.
- Participate in and contribute to projects across corporate finance, TV, and new ventures as required.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced modeling techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with Airtable.
- Management and organization of large data sets.
- Ability to interpret and analyze legal contracts, identifying key financial terms.
- Solid understanding of GAAP financial reporting and the ability to analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present financial information to diverse audiences, including senior management.

Our target salary range for this role is between $90,000 to $105,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
