A24 is seeking a Temporary Receptionist for our NY office. We are seeking a welcoming, self-starter with a 'no job too small' attitude who is willing to assist with various projects as our office continues to grow and expand. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in administrative work, office management, and overall business operations. This role will be part of a highly collaborative Workplace Experience team and will report to the Workplace Experience Lead. This is a Monday-Friday in-office position for a temporary period of approximately 6 months, with the possibility to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a warm and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming calls, ensuring clear and helpful communication. Maintain office security by following safety procedures.
- Office Operations Support: Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the front desk and common areas. Monitor and coordinate incoming deliveries, mail, and packages.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance as needed, including scheduling appointments, preparing meeting rooms, assisting with expenses, and supporting office luncheons, events, or gatherings.
- Supply Management: Track and maintain office and kitchen supplies, submitting orders as needed.
- Support Office Manager: Collaborate with the Office Manager/Coordinator to ensure daily operations run efficiently, offering additional assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a warm and approachable personality.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in G Suite Applications
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

This role is a temporary, W-2 position, working at least 40 hours per week. Our target hourly rate for this position is between $20 and $23. Actual starting pay within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
