We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and music-savvy Music Coordinator to join our growing music team. This role involves managing the release pipeline, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining an efficient workflow for music-related projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in music and label operations, as well as a passion for music discovery and the evolving digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for project coordination and album set up including maintaining release calendars, communicate with artist teams and creatives to finalize materials, work closely with label distributors to finalize project setup details, and lead communication channels with DSPs
- Provide administrative support including process music purchase orders and track project payment approvals (PAs)
- Compile weekly performance reports, update marketing calendars, track usage rights, process agency requests, monitor royalty payments, and maintain databases
- Ensure publishing admin is fully aligned on all upcoming releases, providing cue sheets,and final music files.
- Regularly communicate upcoming releases to publishing admin marketing teams to maximize internal support
- Coordinate process for physical release: management production timelines alongside retail teams, review test pressing, finalize and proof templates for print, report retail and D2C sales, maintain production budget and schedules
- Provide support to music PR agencies and internal PR team
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts, including developing and managing A24 Music social channels
- Coordinate artist travel and schedule logistics for photoshoots, performance, and meetings: book cars, flights, trains, private charters, and hotels
- Participate in new music and artist discovery briefs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a label or music-related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of label setup, music marketing, and social posting.
- Demonstrated passion for music discovery and understanding of digital music trends.

Our target hourly range for this role is between $22 and $25. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
