Director/Consultant, Digital Distribution (International) - 6-month consultancy

A24 has an opportunity for a Director/Consultant to support the launch of direct distribution across international markets. We’re also open to speaking with experienced Digital Account Managers for a consultant opportunity managing the day-to-day business of non-domestic partners (with some US account management for parental leave coverage). 

While this role is scoped as a 6-month consultancy, there is the possibility of the position evolving into a regular, full-time position for the right candidate.

The role will lead the day-to-day direct Digital Distribution business of non-domestic releases and partners and work closely with the domestic business strategic team on the maintenance of growing business accounts and territory expansion efforts. This project based role will facilitate the expansion into nine new territories internationally between April and October with the potential to manage further expansion efforts.

We’re looking for a passionate and detail oriented individual to support this exciting growth whilst continuing to provide best in class service across both US and international partners. 

Responsibilities (may vary depending on level):

International Launch Planning:

  • Support GM in establishing & onboarding new partners & territories 
  • Advise on pricing & windowing strategies in markets for direct distribution
  • Maintain competitive tracking for territories of direct distribution
  • Establish clear & efficient partner management workflows in new territories as necessitated by global expansion efforts
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure accuracy and efficiency for a smooth launch across all markets

Digital Account Management: 

  • CRM & partner communications
    • Work closely with the strategic team as key point of contact providing day-to-day client services across all existing transactional VOD accounts in non-domestic territories
  • Facilitate Partner Material Fulfillment in International Territories
    • Ensure fulfillment of partner asset requests; track progress and deadlines
    • Act as internal liaison with domestic business & operations teams ensure timely delivery of partner material requests
    • Leverage material delivery for merchandising placement
  • Prepare International sales presentation materials
    • Edit template for upcoming partner pitches as necessary
    • Deliver accolade & key updates to partners
  • Maintain systems for organizing contractual & pricing commitments across territories

Sales & Merchandising

  • Generate new release projections 
    • Organize partner placement indications & synthesize to set expectations for digital launch merchandising
    • Identify opportunities to achieve over-and-above placements for new releases
  • Coordinate with the domestic team to expand the catalog discount program internationally 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Account Management experience in the Home Entertainment Industry (International experience required)
  • Experience with product pricing across multiple currencies
  • Fervent interest in the global digital distribution landscape
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace required, experience with Tableau or similar data system preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence with the capacity to bridge the gap of a remote team
  • Adept at developing organizational systems & facilitating internal processes
  • Acute attention to detail & pride in presentation
  • Partner visitation travel as necessitated by slate and onboarding will be required
  • Humble, personable, diligent, hard working
  • Resourceful, quick-learner that thrives in a fast-paced environment

Our target monthly pay range for this role is between $11,000 and $14,000. Actual starting pay within this range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role, while temporary, is a W2 position and eligible for health benefits.
